Who is God? by Siddar Thirumoolar

One of the first references to Tirumoolar is in the Periya Puranam written by Cekkilar in the 12th century. The work is a hagiography of the 63 Nayanmars (Śaiva devotees) of south Indian (Tamil) Śaivism.

Tirumoolar is a yogi and have lived for many years. He have written 3047 poets and tells the world that he just learned. He says that the body is different, the soul is different.Tirumoolar tells us that only when these two come together can we attain the four definite objects of virtue, meaning, pleasure and home.

Below you can read the first verse of the 3047 songs sung by Tirumoolar in the 10th edition and its explanation.

Oṉṟavaṉ tāṉē iraṇṭavaṉ iṉṉaruḷ  niṉṟaṉaṉ mūṉṟaṉuḷ nāṉkuṇarn tāṉaintu  veṉṟaṉaṉ āṟu virintaṉaṉ ēḻumparc  ceṉṟaṉaṉ tāṉirun tāṉuṇarntu eṭṭē.

Subject:

* He is one,
* That are divided into two with power, (Shathki and Shivan)
* Then formed three as Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra as the trinity of the creation, protection, destruction, doing the work,
*Realized the realities of the four vedas
* Then five giver of the energy that  suppresses the five senses of the ear, mouth, eyes, nose, body

* Mūlātāram, cuvātiṭṭāṉam, maṇipūrakam, anākatam, vicutti, āññai are the six sources of the wide,

* On top of that the seventh place fits over the Cakasrataḷam platform,
* Realizes the eight objects of earth, water, fire, air, sky, sun, moon and soul and mixes in them and becomes tangible.

God has said beautifully and clearly in the order of one, two, that there is only one God, for the creation of the universe and its movement, and for His energy, and how they have evolved in every state.
